Kindergarten -8th grade Scholarships

The K-8 Tuition Scholarship application and instructions for 2024-2025 will be available beginning on January 17, 2024. The submission deadline for the application with all accompanying materials is on or before April 5, 2024.

Overview

High quality education from an early age is a benefit throughout the school years and throughout life. Sometimes the best placement for a child is in a tuition-based school. Often the cost of private education is out of reach for families.

The Leon N. Weiner Education Foundation (LNWEF) provides up to $5000 per year in tuition for a child, residing in a Leon N. Weiner & Associates owned or Arbor Management, LLC managed property located in Delaware, to attend grades Kindergarten through 8th. The K-8 School Tuition scholarship is disbursed directly to the school on the awardee’s behalf. Scholarships are not automatically renewed. Subsequent year applications will be strongly considered.

Eligibility

U.S. citizen or legal resident of the U.S.
Resident in good standing* of a property owned/managed by LNWA in Delaware
If currently enrolled in school, passing in all grades and an overall C average (minimum)

in good standing

For a resident to be eligible to apply for and receive LNWEF scholarship funds, either for him/herself or for any other person residing in his/her apartment, such resident must be in “good standing.” Good standing is defined as (1) current on all rents and fees due on his/her apartment; (2) no outstanding litigation or arbitration actions between the tenant and his/her landlord; and (3) no additional concerns presented by apartment management.

Section 8: APPLICANT AFFIRMATIONS

By checking this box, I affirm that the information supplied in this application and accompanying documentation is complete, accurate and supplied by me and agree that LNWEF may rely on the truth and accuracy of all such information to determine my child’s eligibility for a LNWEF Scholarship. In addition, I acknowledge that the determination by LNWEF that any of such information is false or inaccurate, may alone be grounds for denial of my child’s eligibility for a past, present or future LNWEF Scholarship.
